St. Joseph’s Secondary School Castlebar, Co.Mayo is a voluntary Catholic Secondary School for girls under the trusteeship of CEIST (Catholic Education an Irish Schools’ Trust).
We aim to provide a holistic Christian Education in co-operation with staff, students, parents/guardians, Board of Management and the Community. We work to create equality for all in an atmosphere of mutual respect. We strive to excellence in learning and endeavour to help each student to reach her full potential in a positive, caring and happy environment. |

Catering Services
In our strive to promote healthy eating, St. Joseph's have our own school canteen. "Get Fresh" Catering Services are providing fresh, wholesome home cooked meals for students. Our lunchroom/canteen is open from 8.15 a.m. and provides breakfast and snacks such as cereal, porridge, toast, fruit juices, water, tea and coffee. Also provided at lunch time are hot and cold food such as soup, hot lunch, sandwich bar, salad bar and rolls, fruit and a limited selection of soft drinks. The menu offers a good selection of healthy snacks and hot food at an affordable price every day. The freshly cooked food and healthy options are proving very popular with our students . |

St. Joseph’s Secondary School is a voluntary Catholic all girls’ second level school, under the Trusteeship of the Ceist. The school’s Board of Management is appointed by the Trustees. The members of the Board of Management for the period October 2015 - September 2018 are:
